III: Coeur de cochon is a video shared in the context of live performance-installations, projected over the surfaces of kinetic sculptures which pulse in real-time with heart rate signals from performers.
“I placed my hands inside your chest because I wanted to be closer to you, to experience your heart directly, free from the noise of mediated experience. I wanted to hear, feel, see, and smell your heart, not your chest, your lungs, your skin, your electrical potential. But I am still on the outside, around your heart. I don’t think I wanted to be inside your heart; I think I wanted to be coextensive with it.”
